Más allá de las similitudes con Clandestino en esta oportunidad Chao no suena tan fresco y honesto todo el disco termina siendo una copia a si mismo, reiterándose en ideas, formulas que por repetitivas dejan de tener el impacto que tenían en su anterior trabajo que causo un verdadero furor, son como las sobras de Clandestino.Īlgunos momentos de Esperanza siguen siendo disfrutadles y justifican su escucha como “Merry Blues”, “Bixo”, “Promiscuity” y “Me Gustas Tú”.Įs una lastima que en vez de profundizar lo hecho en su debut solista haya repetido lo mismo superficialmente y terminó cayendo en formulas conocidas. Ya reconocido como una figura en el rock mundial Manu continua con su variedad de idiomas a la hora de cantar en esta oportunidad las canciones varían entre árabe, ingles, francés, gallego, portugués y español. El disco es una especie de continuación del sonido único y con raíces latinoamericanas que tanto llamo la atención en su antecesor. Próxima Estación: Esperanza se publico tres años después de Clandestino, aunque no mucho cambiaria para Manu Chao.
